The Wheel Ski & Sports Club

2008 - 2009

Stateline Wisconsin / Illinois ski, snowboard, and sports club. We welcome members of all skill levels, from never-ever to expert, regardless of your preferred snow sport. Whether you ski, snowboard, or just tour and shop, the only prerequisites for membership are:

You have to love snow
You like to have fun

In addition to snow sports, during the off-season we also enjoy golf, kayaking, canoeing, camping, biking, and an occasional off-road excursion on ATVs. Hardly a month goes by without having some kind of fun activity planned.

Wheel Ski & Sports Club Meetings

The Wheel Ski & Sports Club meets on the first Tuesday of each month during the season. Come early for dinner. Dinner is at 5:30 PM. The meetings start at 6:30 PM. No membership is required to attend. Meetings are held at:

Wheel Ski?

The Wagon Wheel Lodge in Rockton, Illinois, was the first home of the Wheel Ski Club. The club's namesake is now a part of history, but the club is still going strong! Since the first ski trip to Winterpark, Colorado, in March of 1992, we have made new friends and enjoyed many great mountain experiences in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. See: Trip Archives
